Cambodia is home to the captivating temples of Angkor Wat, steeped in history and immense in scale. Siem Reap town is a buzzing place with a great art scene, while the capital, Phnom Penh, is home to great food and stunning architecture, a Royal Palace and more. There are beach escapes, rivers and lakes to explore, friendly people and a beautiful countryside.

CAMBODIA HOTELS

The hotels we recommend in Cambodia won't break the budget, but offer everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a swimming pool.

Juliana Hotel, Phnom Penh                 from $53pp twin share

The friendly and well-run Juliana Hotel has comfortable guestrooms to retreat to after a day out and about in exciting Phnom Penh. It's located only a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride away from the riverfront area, with its bar and restaurant scene. The hotel is home to a fantastic spa with well-priced Thai and foot massages, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. Best of all, there's a huge swimming pool - a welcome sight to come back to!

Steung Siem Reap Hotel                      from $53 pp twin share

This hotel is right in the heart of Siem Reap's action, near the Old Market, cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, art galleries and spas. Offering great value for money, it's well-priced for the location, comfortable rooms and facilities. There are two wings on either side of a road, one housing a swimming pool. The hotel's exterior and the rooms themselves are tasteful in style, and even though you're in the centre of it all, the rooms have double-glazed windows to keep out any noise.
